The Allentown Rescue Mission is teaching members of The Clean Team important values and life skills in order to become successful down the road - most importantly discipline and workplace ethics. These are skills and values that these men will be able to use for the rest of their lives.
Members of The Clean Team are very excited to be working not only with The Clean Team but also with The Allentown Rescue Mission. The Clean Team is very beneficial according to a Clean Team Member, "The Clean Team is teaching us job skills, and teamwork skills." There is somewhat of a comradery between all members of The Clean Team, and they have certainly gained life-long friendships between co-workers and instructors.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2009, the launch of the Clean Team Web site was celebrated at Enter.Net. To honor the first anniversary of The Allentown Rescue Mission’s Clean Team, Enter.Net teamed up with students from Parkland School District to create and launch CleanTeamPA.com. Parkland High School’s Job Shadow Program teamed four students with Enter.Net's web design department and management team to give the students a glimpse of a "real world" job experience.
